- 1.Do I need to book a school tour before enrolling my child at Berkeley?
We highly recommend booking a private school tour with our admissions team to experience our community firsthand as it will provide a sense of our campus culture, facilities, and programs that we offer.
- 2.How can I book a school tour?
We offer a private school tour to all interested families who want to visit our campus. Simply contact our admissions team at info@berkeley.ac.th or call us at 02-747-4881 to set up an appointment for a private school tour.
- 3.How multicultural is Berkeley?
As of June 2023, we have 59% Westerners, 30% Thais, and 11% Asians represented at our school, and we are proud of providing a truly international educational environment for our students. Our diverse campus culture will help your child be globally prepared in an international community outside our school.
- 4.Can my child join the school at any time?
Yes, we accept applications throughout the year. Berkeley warmly welcomes you and your family to be a part of our growing community and it is truly a great honor for us to be a part of your child's fun-filled development and exciting cross-cultural journey
- 5.How do I get my child to school?
Our campus is conveniently located in the heart of Bangna, one of Bangkok's major suburbs and one of its busiest. You can take a taxi from the nearest train stations such as BTS Green Line Udom Suk, BTS Green Line Bangna, or MRT Yellow Line Sri Udom and you can easily recognize our school's imposing clock tower and elegant architecture as you pass by the Bangna-Trad highway. We also offer a safe and reliable school bus service by Metrobus transportation. Get in touch with us for a full list of routes.
- 6.How can I get my child involved in school life?
There are lots of ways to get involved in our student community. We organize fun events, cultural trips, and workshops that are open to everyone and help your child settle into our school. Your child, together with other students, will surely recognize the beauty of diversity as it is a great opportunity to learn from one another and a good way to get rid of racism, stereotypes, and stigma.
- 7.How do you communicate with parents?
We will keep in touch with you in all sorts of ways. Aside from contacting us through our email and telephone number, you can also contact us through our Facebook and Instagram accounts @berkeleyinternationalschool. Once your child is admitted to our school, you will also be invited to our parent-teacher meetings and monthly coffee mornings.
